Plastic traps moisture and paper dries bread out. Cotton with a beeswax lining sits between the two, so a whole crusty loaf can stay on the bench for up to 7 days.

Made from durable natural cotton with a premium beeswax coating, this bag is designed for daily use. It fits large artisan loaves, holds its shape on your bench, and is reusable for years.

Reusable, so it replaces single-use plastic bread bags. A simple switch that feels good every time you use it.
A fresh loaf is at its best for about two or three days, bakers say.
Day Seven is cotton with a beeswax lining. It isn't sealed like plastic, so the crust doesn't sit in its own moisture, and the lining slows the drying that paper allows. Kept whole and sliced as you go, a crusty or sourdough loaf stays fresh for up to 7 days.
Fewer half-loaves in the bin, and no single-use plastic.

Plastic traps moisture and paper dries bread out. Day Seven is 100% cotton with a natural beeswax lining, made to sit between the two.
Up to 7 days for a whole crusty or sourdough loaf, kept whole and sliced as you go. Results depend on your climate and the bread: pre-sliced and soft sandwich bread dry out faster whatever you keep them in, and in very hot, humid weather no bench storage holds off mould for long.
Each bag measures 33 × 43 cm (13 × 17 in): room for a large sourdough, a Dutch oven loaf, or two smaller loaves.
Wipe with a damp cloth or rinse in cool water with mild soap, then air dry. Avoid hot water or machine washing to protect the beeswax lining.
